County Squad Info
The Area squad took part in a friendly team competition with the Castle Judo club on Friday 27th May.
The 10 boys and 5 Girls were selected from the first Squad Training session, which took place on the 21st may at the Beaumont Leys Leisure Centre. There were aprox 50 members from a variety of the Leicester Clubs that attended.
The 15 strong team that represented the Area had a great time taking part in the Team competition and then staying on for a training session run by the castle judo Club with help from Jonathan Fitches and Paul Bennett.
The Girls Team Took Gold and the Boys Silver. Well done to you all.

The Mercia Judo Club from Tamworth, were welcomed by the Leicester Squad Coaches.
The 2 counties came together to share techniques and have a great randori session.
Our thanks to all who supported the session, and helped coach including Mitch Haines and Nick Holmes. The squad are preparing to visit Mercia in December.
